We did have a family friend who is does home mortgages and she asked us to use her and that she could beat or match Veterans United rates, fees, etc. We did entertain the friend, but the process had some bumps in it. We decided to let the friend go and go all in with Veterans United. We did this because never once along the way did a red flag pop up. Everyone we dealt with came across very experienced.
