This was the easiest home buying process I have ever experienced.
I was always under the impression that buying a house would be a very stressful and difficult process. But working with VU completely changed that perspective—it was an unbelievably smooth and straightforward experience. My loan officer, Dustin Johnson, and his team were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and proactive throughout every step. They always kept me informed, answered all my questions promptly, and made sure I understood everything that was happening.Their professionalism and genuine care turned what could have been a nerve-wracking process into something I actually enjoyed. The only downside to closing on my house is that I won’t get to work with Dustin and his team on a daily basis anymore. My entire experience from beginning to end went well. Once I was pre-approved, the team really went above and beyond to advise and support me. The person who absolutely deserves all the praise and accolades is Zach Kieffer. He is the most pleasant, smart, and patient person I have ever dealt with. Time and time again, he never hesitated to answer any question I had. I had a ton of questions. He was well spoken, polite, and explained to me everything that I could ask him. He always answered my emails. He always answered my phone calls. Towards the end of the process, I had several questions. I was nervous. It happened to be on a Saturday. I emailed with the knowledge that he would probably not answer them until he got to his office on Monday. I was totally surprised to see that within an hour, Zach had gotten back to me and calmed me down, and talked me through the problem I was having. He is an asset to Veterans United.
